For women, one of the problems they face is the sagging of their breasts. As they age and their bodies go through the test of time, their breasts lose elasticity and become saggy.

First off, we need to determine what causes the sagging of the breasts.

Causes:
As the body grows older, changes to the body happen. And for women, the sagging of the breasts usually happen at the age of 40. There are many factors that are involved in which the condition could trigger earlier, such as when the skin becomes too old and loses elasticity. Because breast are not made of muscle but rather fat, milk-producing glands, they need to be taken care of.

Other factors include smoking, improper fitting-bras, menopause, improper nutrition, rapid weight gain or loss, and over-tanning of the skin.
This could also happen after the pregnancy of a woman. But bear in mind that breastfeeding does not contribute to this phenomenon. In fact, weight gain after pregnancy which stretches the ligaments will likely increase the chances of breast sagging. Paying close attention to your weight and making sure its under control will prevent this from happening.

Diseases like breast cancer and tuberculosis may also contribute to the phenomenon. Drinking alcoholic and carbonated beverages, smoking cigarettes, over-tanning and the wrong-sized bras as mentioned before also have an impact in women getting saggy breasts.
